Fulfillment by Amazon  business proved as a full-time income source for sellers while it turn into nightmare for others. A wrong product launching, low demand or heavy competition might be the reason behind your unsold FBA inventory.

But, Amazon keeps charging your monthly storage fee, Professional plan subscription, and other fees. So, it is necessary to get rid of unsold inventory to avoid these charges.

Here, I have prepared a list of possible things you can do with non-selling Amazon FBA stock. This way you can clear the stock asap.

Low down product price

You need to understand the purpose why people are not buying your product. May be you selling a product available at an affordable price by other sellers on Amazon.

So, check competitors price and low down your price. Keep it less from competitors product price. May be you see a sales for your product. Turn sales into reviews on your listing and increase selling price slowly with time.

The client launched this product in December 2019. He was not getting sales and invested a lot on PPC. He contacted me and I started working on it. I did the price down than competitors and see, the client started receiving sales.

Now, with the increase of reviews and ratings, I again started to increasing the product price. But, the best thing, sales has not affected.

 

Run huge discount or coupon codes

Create a 30-50% off coupon codes and run campaign on Amazon to get rid of unsold inventory. Amazon customers love it. You will see a boost in sales. Though you need to compromise with profit but this way you can get your inventory sold to much extent.

Send product to Affiliate bloggers

Affiliate marketing is the back bone of the eCommerce industry. Amazon and eBay customers check the product authenticity and bloggers suggestions before buying a product. So, you should find such blogs covering the same product niche you selling under fulfillment by Amazon merchandise.

Email them and ask them to review your product. They will check your product quality, features and if found good, your product will get feature into their top suggestions. So, you will get mouth publicity from high-traffic generating affiliate sites.

Liquidate

Retailers, resellers, and offline vendors often look for bulk inventories on liquidation sites liquidation sites like Liquidation.com, Bulq.com etc. You can list your product inventory on liquidation site and get attention from the potential buyer who can purchase your stock.

Sell on other marketplace

Amazon is not a single marketplace to buy products online. eBay, Etsy, Walmart, Target, and Costco etc are big names in the list.

Sometimes, a product not popular on Amazon has a good demand on other online marketplace. So, you can list your product on other marketplaces and try hands. Do not worry about order fulfillment. Amazon will do the shipment for third-party orders.

Yes, Amazon runs multi-channel order fulfillment services for FBA customers. You can sell anywhere and get your product delivered to the customer by Amazon fulfillment. Amazon will charge you order shipment fees only.

Get Inventory disposed by Amazon

Amazon has its in-house programs for Amazon FBA sellers to get rid of unsold FBA inventory. It provides inventory disposed service o them. You can dispose the unsold products for up to $0.50/unit.

Call-off your inventory

If you have additional space at home, then I suggest you to call your inventory from Amazon. This way you can save monthly storage fees and FBA fees.

Turn your listing from FBA to FBM, and sell as merchant fulfilled. When you receive the order, send your parcel to the customer through shipping carriers (Fedex, USPS, UPS etc).

Donate it

Finally, if you decided not to deal with this product anymore and invest a penny on it. Better to donate it. Look for NGOs or charity organizations whom the product is useful to. Talk to them and parcel the inventory to their address.
